Petar Yanev is one of the most emblematic performers of the Rhodope bagpipe. He has been a bagpiper of the great Valya Balkanska for decades. His work is associated with the ensemble “Rhodope”, Smolyan.
He is chairman of the Bulgarian National Bagpipe Association. Petar Yanev is among the musicians who imposed the kaba bagpipe as the “incomparable voice of the Rhodopes”.
Assistant Professor Dr. Ivan Georgiev is a lecturer in “Bagpipe” and “Pedagogical practice in bagpipes” in the Department of “Musical Folklore” at the Academy of Music, Dance and Fine Arts “Prof. Asen Diamandiev ”in the city of Plovdiv. Ivan Georgiev – Balki is among the most popular bagpipers in Bulgaria. He actively participates in various projects, including “The Mystery of the Bulgarian Voices” and “Theodosii Spassov folk quintet”. Ivan Georgiev is a member of the board of the Bulgarian National Bagpipe Association.

If you don’t have a Bagpipe you can easily get one from the SHOP section of the platform.
The subscription plans above are different options to get individual lessons. You will be charged upfront which means you would have to pay the whole amount before arranging the lessons. As soon as the payment is received you will be able to arrange your lessons. After purchasing one of the plans you will receive an e-mail containing instructions. Follow them, arrange your lesson and enjoy! Keep in mind that lessons may only take place Mondays and Fridays between 10am and 8pm CET.
After you place an order you will receive an e-mail within 24 hours. In that e-mail you will find instructions on how to arrange your lessons. If you have any difficulties with the system do not hesitate to me. You can do that via e-mail: email@example.com or just by using the contact form on the contact page. If you purchase a course you will be contacted within 24 hours of your purchase. If you don’t receive an email after your purchase – Please check the spam folder of the email you provided for the purchase.
The lessons can ONLY take place every Mondays and Fridays between 10am and 8pm CET. You can easily arrange that after purchasing the package you like.
Based on a lot of teaching experience – two lessons a week is the minimum set of lessons required for a student to fully assimilate and process the information and the techniques taught during the lessons. Of course if the student really wants to have only one lesson a week this can be arranged but it is not advised.
